Long time no ... blog?
Well, my excuses are the same excuses, work, school, boyfriend....
And well, I want a new camera too....
Soo I'm going to be doing a quick reviews on things that doesn't need... well long reviews until I save up for my camera! (Samsung MV900)
So Anyways, onto the review.
I'm kind of late on reviewing this because it was the hype (it still kinda is) about a couple months ago.
So the one that I bought is in Quenched which also has SPF 20 and I bought it because my Burt's Bee one wasn't really helping with my chapped lips (probably because I got the cooling one instead of the moisturizing one)
Here is what the company claims:
Our exclusive formula moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours.
Lips renewed in 1 week* (*Based on panelists’ self-evaluations)
Overall: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
Okay, let me tell you, this moisturizes like crazy. Like even if you like rub it off or it comes off because you're drinking/eating, you can notice the difference the next day. Mind you, I have super chapped and dry lips; to the point where I can't wear lipstick even if I exfoliate and such. The only reason I gave it a 4 star out of 5 is well... I'm hard to please LOL
Did it live up to what it is suppose to do?
- Moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours: ✔ The reason why I gave it a check is because I don't know if it moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours. I mean 8 hours is a long long time. But the results on my lips I saw the next day... maybe it does.
- Lips renewed in 1 week: ✔ This, is not a claim by the company but by panelists' self-evaluations. I didn't really keep track on my lip renewal, but like I said, I saw the difference the next day.
Would I repurchase?
For a drug store product that I bought for about $4.00, yes probably. But if I had more money I would buy the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment with SPF for about $23.00
